Schaeffler induction heaters are primarily designed to heat bearings, enabling a straightforward shrink-fit assembly. With professional approval, they can also be used for heating other closed-circuit metal items like bushings, couplings, and cogwheels.

Temperature Limits: The standard maximum heating temperature is 240°C (464°F). An exception is the HEATER20-BASIC model, which has a lower limit of 150°C (300°F).

Operation: While suitable for continuous use, heating to the maximum temperature 240°C should not exceed 30 minutes. The HEATER20-BASIC model has a 1.5-hour duty cycle.
The device is designed for indoor use only within an industrial environment. It operates safely in ambient temperatures ranging from 0°C (32°F) to 50°C (120°F) and in non-condensing humidity between 5% and 90%. Operation automatically ceases if the temperature drops below freezing 0°C.
