Description
The optibelt OLYMPIA mild hybrid ribbed belts are designed for use in challenging applications where the power of the combustion engine is supplemented with the power of a belt-driven starter generator. Mild hybrid systems need an extremely high-performance drive belt, since the power transmission frequently switches between the starter generator and the crankshaft pulley.

Performance & Troubleshooting Guide
- Strong belt vibrations cause uneven wear of the belt section and can be fixed by retensioning or changing the belt.
- Leakage of the engine compartment fluids causes contamination of the belt, requiring the leak to be fixed immediately.
- Tension that is too high causes cracks in the belt after a short running period.
